Our Courses

Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering deals with an area of science and technology pertaining to design and production of devices, machines, processes and conversion systems that involve mechanical work.

This also includes the conversion of thermal, chemical and nuclear energy into mechanical energy. Additionally, since all manufactured products must be constructed from solid material, mechanical engineers are involved in the structural integrity and material selection for almost every product in the market.

Infrastructure

Central workshops which independent carpentry, fitting, foundry, welding, smithy and machine shops

The different labs in this department are Heat Transfer Lab., Dynamics Lab., Fluid Mechanics Lab., Material Testing lab., Refrigeration & Air -conditioning Lab., and Metrology lab.

Extensive laboratories for Vibration and stress Analysis

CAD / CAM lab.

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering has an intake capacity 60 students. The Electronics and Communication Engineering curriculum provides a balanced view of design and implementation electronics circuits, microprocessors, narrowband and broadband communication technology.

Recent advances in microprocessor and communication technology, is making the fine lines between electronics and communication very trivial.

Infrastructure

Well equipped in-house laboratories for Analog Electronics, Circuit lab, B.E. Lab.

Communication, Microwave and T.V lab.

This department also boasts of a Microprocessor lab, Digital Processing lab & Digital Electronics Lab.

Automobile Engineering

Automobile Engineering is a branch ofengineering which deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles. It is a segment of vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, buses, trucks, etc. It includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety elements. Skills Required: Artistic

Computer Science & Enginnering

The Computer Science and Engineering department is being organized into various subgroups such as: Computer Theory and Languages, Software Engineering and Application/System Development, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. There has been a technological explosion in the field of computers.

Computers and microprocessors have become an integral part of the society and its use span from home appliance to sattelite communication.

There is equal emphasis on mathematics, theoretical computer science and experimental computer technology. The four-year curriculum in computer science and engineering includes a thorough preparation in English, mathematics, statistics, computing engineering and science. The department of computer science and engineering offers broad range of courses including computer system and architecture, algorithms, programming languages, database management system, computer vision, graphics, artificial intelligence, computer communication, optimization, formal languages, complexity theory and software engineering.Computer Communication and Networking(LAN,WAN,Internet), Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD-CAM), Software Support and development systems(Programming languages and RDBMS). Keeping in view the increasing demand for the requirement of computer knowledge, a minimum number of core computer courses are being taught in every department of engineering.

Infrastructure

Air-conditioned and well furnished programming labs equipped with latest versions of software like Oracle, Java, VB, C++, under Unix, Windows, Sun Microsystems environment

Internet facility to all the departments and administrative office with sufficient backup by UPS and generators.

The computer terminals including forty P -IV terminals from the backbone of the elaborate computer net work of the department.

A hardware lab providing training in Microprocessor.

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department leads to the degree in Electrical Engineering along with a broadbased specialization in Electronics and Computers. An electrical and electronics engineer develop and apply the theories of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetic to design the systems for power generation, transmission, communication and control.

With a solid foundation in mathematics, and engineering physics, the students are offered courses in integrated circuits, computers, radio and television, satellite transmission system, fiber optics and lasers, microelectronics circuits designs etc. The laboratory work is structured to apply fundamental concepts to solve complex engineering problems. A wide range of elective courses offered in the final year permits the students to emphasize specific disciplines such as computers, telecommunication, and control theory.

Civil Engineering

There is a large scale construction activities connected with technological developments of the country. So, this requires a large number of Civil Engineers which the present output of Engineering, Colleges cannot cope with. Hence, a new branch of Civil Engineering has been developed in the College.

Infrastructure

A well-furnished Hydraulics Lab with floor measuring set-up and turbines.

An Environmental Engineering Lab equipped with all modern age requirements.

A structural Engineering Lab self-sufficient not only to cater the curricular needs of students but also to satisfy the requirements of teachers to pursue research work.

Civil Engineering Lab with in-house computer facilities.

The other labs in this department are Survey lab, Geo-tech Engineering Lab and Transportation Engineering Lab.

Recently a well-equipped Auto CAD lab has been established to encourage the civil engineering students in Civil Engineering and Design line.

Master of Business Administration

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a postgraduate degree program that provides advanced business and management training. The course will equip students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in leadership roles.
